S Hunter, of Qosh n, Va., and Frank M. Qell, of Gamsville, Ga. Frank Palmer was taken into custody on a charge of being one of the operators. The victims had just returned from Ecuador, where they had been work ing on the construction of a new rrilroad. Hunter had $170 and Bell possess $1,190. They were ac costed by a large, well dressed man near City Hall Park, who said he was a clothing manufacturer and he induced them to go to a roorf! on East Seventeenth streetwhere they w-re joined by two more men, one of whom was gotten up to resemble a Western rancher.
